Lazzerini at Next Mobility Exhibition 2026: sustainability and accessibility on Menarini buses

At Next Mobility Exhibition 2026, Menarini unveils two new public transport bus models equipped with Lazzerini seating systems and a new area dedicated to passengers with reduced mobility, developed in collaboration with Vernacchia Design, one of the leading international design houses.

At the heart of the project is the Re-Compact seat, designed for urban transport and made entirely from recyclable materials derived from waste otherwise destined for landfill. The solution combines ergonomics, lightness, durability, and ease of maintenance, helping reduce the use of fossil-based raw materials while promoting a circular production model. Alongside the focus on sustainability, Lazzerini also introduces a new area dedicated to accessibility and inclusion: a space designed to provide greater comfort, safety, and privacy, moving beyond the traditional concept of a simple technical station.
